Thanks to its antimicrobial and fiber-free structure, the material meets high hygiene requirements and is particularly suitable for insulation in healthcare facilities such as hospitals.

Extensively tested and internationally certified, Kaiflex ST offers broad usability and technical characteristics of the highest standard. Thanks to its very low thermal conductivity of up to λ ≤0.033 W/(m·K) at 0 °C and excellent resistance to water vapor diffusion of up to μ ≥ 10,000, this Kaimann insulation is very energy efficient and reliably prevents condensation. In Euroclass B/B_L-s3, d0 (DIN EN 13501-1), Class O (according to UK building regulations) and Class 1 very low surface flame spread (tested according to BS 476-7), this elastomeric insulation also meets the highest safety requirements related to fire behavior.

The excellent technical characteristics remain consistently high across all insulation thicknesses and guarantee reliable performance throughout the entire operational life of the system. Even with low insulation thickness, this proven material provides long-term protection against energy losses, acts as an effective water vapor barrier, and therefore minimizes the risk of corrosion under insulation.
